What is Rotaract?
The purpose of Rotaract is to foster leadership and responsible citizenship, encourage high ethical standards in business, and promote international understanding and peace. Today, there are more than 8,000 clubs in 170 countries, with more than 189,000 members. Members are typically between the ages of 18-35 and are employed in a variety of professional careers. Members have a strong interest in fellowship, community service, international service and developing leadership skills.

Twin Cities Rotaract is a part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. Rotaract was started by Rotary International in the late 1960s.The first club was chartered in North Charlotte, NC in 1968. The name is coined from “Rotary in Action.” All Rotaract clubs are sponsored by an international Rotary Club. TCR is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Roseville, MN and was founded 15 years ago in 1996.
