Our international and local service projects always strive towards a peaceful world through understanding, goodwill and service. Our members come together in collective service, to help build vital communities and advance understanding, goodwill and peace in our communities.
Our motto is SERVICE ABOVE SELF!
When considering service projects, sponsorships or volunteer opportunities we ask; “Does it meet the Four Way Test of things we say or do?
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it BUILD goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
In addition we examine for Avenues of Service:
1. In and through the member’s vocation
2. Within the member’s local community
3. Through international service
4. Through fellowship
And lastly, we review the Areas of Focus for the year:
1. Peace and conflict prevention/resolution
2. Disease prevention and treatment
3. Water and sanitation
4. Maternal and child health
5. Basic education and literacy
6. Economic and community development
